Happy b-day to the young and even younger. I have a whole bunch of heroes just turning older left and right. I wish Curt and Gramps the best years of their whole lives! It's gonna be a good one!
As for the news around this place, cambios were today, and.....duh-du-du-DUH me and Hna. Kemp QUEDAMOS-we STAY together for another 6 weeks at least in AgronomÃa. I'm super excited to be with her still, we're working with a lot of really good people right now, who both of us feel like we were sent here for. We've got a lot of plans to keep working, forever improve and learn, and become even better missionaries. I've learned a lot by being with her, and I know that the Lord just doesn't make mistakes putting people together. His plan is perfect.
Since it's been awhile since I've spent time at home, let me introduce myself to you all again:
My name of the week is Hermana Cherry. The only reason they know that English word around here is because it's a flavor of liquor. I have a hard time accepting it as a compliment. I now find it completely normal to talk to strangers about their deepest beliefs, tell people how they can improve their messed up lives, get cat-called by any type of man you could think of (whether I comb my hair that day or not), eat fruit for dessert, save cereal boxes for any type of project, think in two languages, have swollen feet, not worry about a bank account. My favorite thing to happen in lunch is when you can serve yourself the amount of food you want and put water in the glass before they fill it with coke. I really like it when people are sincere in their desire to know if the restoration really did happen, and if they need to be baptized in Christ's church, and they act on that desire. I love showing pictures of my family to people to show them that not all Americans are fat and blonde. And I know now more than any other time in my life that I am a daughter of my Heavenly Father, who knows my name, my goals, my weaknesses, my heart and who knows very well what has happened and what is going to happen to me in my life. I know that He sent to earth for me a Savior, to understand and comfort me as well as give me strength to improve, scriptures to apply, and an example to follow. I feel as small as I've ever felt, and as strong as I've ever been.
I send with this email all of my love and wishes and heart that you'll never be able to feel to the max. You're all incredible!
Love you lots!
