Training a Greene - Hermana Daglio from Argentina...

Well here's your weekly update from the SOUTH! Coming from your very own Hermana Kelli Child...WOOT WOOT!

First things first, the hermana that is now continually at my side, who watches my every move and who has become my best friend already (go ahead, call me a sister missionary haha) is....Hermana Daglio from Argentina, Buenos Aires! A picture is coming your way, but it doesn't quite do her justice. She's got a great accent (sometimes she doesn't understand the Chileans when they speak, so I translate for her (?a little loopy)), she's got an amazing testimony (she served a mini-mission in Argentina for about 6 months, I'm convinced she's already been out on the mission for more than a year), she's really great at relating to everyone (how I've been blessed with socially ept companions my whole mission, I don't know), and she's from down. town. (I have been fully introduced to which grafiti is admirable art, and which is to be laughed at..and why)

We've had a busy, crazy, but as always, an interesting and fun week...learning and meeting new people and working! I think my companion has never been so tired in her life (nor I), nor has she had bigger blisters on her feet, the poor thing. But she's learned the pace of a missionary and she's great at keeping up!

We helped the stake relief society organize their party for the RS Anniversary this week. They had a special devotional where I sang in the choir and then they had some munchies and fun trivia...and then it evolved into kareoke. VERY fun.

I'm really learning what it means to give it your all in the work. I'm really learning that you will always be able to give it more...because everytime you sacrifice, everytime you give of yourself, everytime you say, "here you go Heavenly Father, take it," ... He takes your weak little offering and He replaces it with an ability or a miracle or a strength even greater than what you had in the first place. So, you literally have more than what you started with. You literally have more to give. It is required to give more, to find every part of you that you haven't surrendered, and then find a way offer it to Him. It's like that favorite saying of Mom's ...where much is given much is required...where forever "more" is required. That is true progression, and true happiness.

I look forward to hearing about your lives every week. I'm very impressed by everything that you all are doing. I love the papaya, I love the MTC experience, I love the AP's schedule, the thesis, the bike rides, the summer break, the end of tax season, RS and all else you're involved in.

Keep up the good work. "every member (of the family) a missionary" like Curt said, no empty chairs.
love you all more than words,
Hermana Chai-ots
