Thanksgiving or not - I am grateful to be a Missionary!

first of all.................

FELICITACIONES A MI HERMANO DE SANGRE Y EN EL EVANGELIO...¡¡HOORAY!! oh Elder Child. How cute you are. I'm so excited that you got your assignment to preach the gospel in Argentina. We are so going to be neighbors. Congrats. From what I hear, get prepared to eat a lot of meat, noodles, and to just love the people!

second of all...................
I'm lovin the new hairdo of the rachel. very adorable. very short. very brave. very stylin. I bet it's a dream to do. It fits you like a glove.

So, I have to admit that I didn't even remember about Thanksgiving until yesterday, then I was worried that I completly missed it. Is it the third or fourth thursday? ah well....I'm just really greatful that I get to be a missionary....and I was really greatful last thursday and this thursday I'm sure will be the same. :) Eat some extra pie for me! (kids table is dwindling...hold out strong curt)

This week we had interviews with the President in his home. Hermana Humphrey (who is very chic) let the sisters check out her closet (full of j.crew and nordies). She gave a suit coat to everyone of us. She also inspired us to really improve our teaching skills. I love her.

I did mini cambios with some sisters that live about a half an hour away this week. Really fun to have a taste of a different sector and investigators. My companion was an Hermana from California who has only been out for 3 weeks. It reminded me a lot of what it was like at the first of my mission, and it really made me reflect on what changes have occured inside of me since I began...what things I have learned how to do, and what things I still need to learn how to do. It helped me realize that my faith in my Heavenly Father has grown immensly (sp?) and my testimony of the restored gospel has been confirmed time and time again.

Everyday I find myself loving this work more and more, and everyday I realize how necessary and helpful and strengthening the gospel is in my own life and in the life of others. I know that our message is the message that God has always wanted His children on the earth to hear. I know that it is the same gospel that was taught in times of old, and that there is no other way to find true and complete happiness but through gaining our own testimony and applying in our own lives the principles that Christ has taught and will always teach.

Sorry that this email is short, I hope that all of you have a GREAT! week and that you find something really new and wonderful in your study of the Book of Mormon this week. You are all such amazing examples to me and I hope that you can feel my love!

love, su hermana
